Hmmm. There’s quite a few help topics regarding Google Scholar and OJS:
With that being said, here’s the things I’ve tried:
- Enabling the Google Scholar plugin
- Submitting sitemap in Google Webmaster Tools
- Double checking metadata for articles in publication
- Submitting Google Scholar manual request

I’m also getting a similar indexing issue: when doing a search for articles from recently published journals (1-2 years), only one or two articles appear.
Google Scholar search “source:stanford source:intersect”
https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&as_ylo=2018&q=source%3Astanford+source%3Aintersect&btnG=
Our OJS journal
http://ojs.stanford.edu/ojs/index.php/intersect
One article from a 2018 publication that appeared

Since we follow a format for publication and we fill out the metadata in a standard way, it’s a little baffling that some articles are indexed but others aren’t. Will follow-up if/when I find something useful.
