I didn’t find how to access sitemap.xml, is it in a specific folder as Sitemap built in or in root folder? Which is it?
That’s a dangerous configuration – authors will be able to upload malicious files (e.g. .phtml code) and then construct a URL to cause the server to execute them. Not to mention that you’d expose pre-publication content without any access controls.

I’m also getting a similar indexing issue: when doing a search for articles from recently published journals (1-2 years), only one or two articles appear.

Since we follow a format for publication and we fill out the metadata in a standard way, it’s a little baffling that some articles are indexed but others aren’t. Will follow-up if/when I find something useful.
