OJS 3.4.

We have a guest editor currently overseeing several submissions. Concurrently, he has submitted a manuscript as an author. The OJS platform did not differentiate between his editorial responsibilities and authorial submission, resulting in the issuance of an automated reminder email concerning outstanding tasks.

Hi @fasken,

We notice this behavior on 3.4 OJS version too. Some automatic emails sent by OJS on 3.4 version seems not have an efficient filter rules and create some misunderstanding with journal contributors.
