Hello. I’m looking for a plugin that allows the creation or import of controlled vocabularies. That these results reflect both the search, indexing and tag cloud of the journals portal. Thankful.

I’ve noticed a couple questions on the forum regarding the creation of controlled vocabularies for OJS3 or at the least changing keyword and subject metadata fields into dropdown menus or selection lists rather than simple free-text fields. OJS3, In fact, doesn’t seem to give us keyword, subject, geography or any other metadata fields when making a submission (or afterward for that matter) free-text or otherwise (besides section, title, abstract and contributors).

Add plugin support for keyword vocabularies that JMs could define to limit the o… ptions available to both authors (indexing metadata) and reviewers (reviewer interests).
This would reduce near-duplicates and synonyms. It could also be used to provide automated suggestions when assigning reviewers, i.e. based on the submission's keywords, automatically score/suggest reviewers who include some of the same keywords in their review interests.
