PKP PLN Status Question

Some of our partners haven’t set up their LOCKSS boxes yet, so the content hasn’t been replicated to them. Once they all get their boxes up and running, the deposits will be complete.

If you’re curious, I think (haven’t checked in a while) three of the boxes are up and copying content.

Just out of curiosity, The network is made of how many boxes?

Once all of the boxes come online we’ll have 9. They located in Canada, the US, and Europe.

I have the same problem. It has been more than 03 days and the I am getting an error, The PKP PLN does not know about this journal yet.
Can you please check;

Hello @esciencepress. There are two journals at that URL. I only looked at Phytopath.

Your journal contacts us regularly, around 22:45 local time. But it hasn’t ever attempted a deposit, which is odd. Can you find the scheduled task log for your OJS instance? The PKP PLN logs are named like this: PKPPLNDepositorTask-5759bc35f4189-20160609.log and live in the files directory.

I found the following details in PKPPLNDepositorTask-593a35f9895cf-20170609.log

[2017-06-09 05:45:29] [Notice] Task process started.
[2017-06-09 05:45:29] [Notice] Depositor processing for [journal_name]
[2017-06-09 05:45:29] [Notice] Getting service document.
[2017-06-09 05:45:30] [Notice] Processing deposit status updates.
[2017-06-09 05:45:30] [Notice] Processing updated content.
[2017-06-09 05:45:30] [Notice] Processing new content.
[2017-06-09 05:45:30] [Notice] Packaging content for deposit.

It looks like your journal is either missing Archive_Tar or doesn’t have permissions to write to the files directory.

We have installed ojs 2.4.8 and using PKP PLN plugin its lockss status is not getting updated. Please help to resolve this.

Hi @nadia!

If you’re still having issues, please update your OJS to a newer version, OJS 2 isn’t actively supported anymore.

Best,
Jonas
