OJS 3.1, Notification of Author Submission not sending

Hello.

I have a question about the notification of author submission.
I created two journals in my system.
for both journal 1 and 2, I set the notification of submission as below:

For journal 1
I checked the box and filled the email, but only the primary contact received 2 notifications.
For journal 2
no email received in both.

Hi @mujiec

Have you check your PHP and mail server log error? Likely this issue is related, or at least reported with some info in system log.

Most of the time, it was the problem of the connection of smtp server and the services. The system more likely matches Linux rather than windows.
What is your specific problem?

There are not any codes or configs changes you have to do for OJS.
For my issue, I called the server supplier to turn on the the port to ensure the connection of smtp. that’s all.
