hi @asmecher
i don’t understand that
my problem just for 1 part of ojs
that is : “Article Component” options in upload submission page (such as Article Text , Research Instrument , Research Materials , …) that’s doesn’t translate
for example i added “< message ke y =“default.genres.article”>متن مقاله< /message>” to default.xml but it doesn’t work
but another message key has correctly worked and translate.
Hi @amirhosein,
Many of the locale keys in default.xml
are installed into the database upon journal creation, so changing the default.xml
file after the journal is created won’t have an effect. I’d suggest creating a new test journal and seeing if it’s translated as you expect.

my journal’s for a big univercity and that have many articles and accounts
how i change this part manually in data base?
Hi @amirhosein,
After the journal is created, you can edit these translations through the various journal setup forms.

Hi @amirhosein,
For the default.genres.article
key you quoted above, go to Settings > Workflow > Components.
