If it helps, my experience was that it can take a month or two for your journal to appear in the Keepers Registry.
It can take a few days to a week for your journal deposit to get processed. Your should be able to see whether your deposits are complete in the status tab on the plugin. For me it took almost the full week.
Then, your journals will get listed here: https://pkp.sfu.ca/pkp-pn/
This was very fast - it updates every night.
But the Keepers Registry only updates with data from that list every month. I found it took about 6 weeks to happen. I think we just missed out on a round of data updating and then it took a while between the Keepers Registry getting the data from PKP and updating the website.
So all up, you could be looking at 2 months between starting the deposit and seeing your journals in the Keepers. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the reply.
Sir i had uploaded by Journals on 25 June 2020 and till now none of the journals are in KEEPERS REGISTRY. Can you please tell some alternative way in getting the journals included in KEEPERS.
Regards
If I were you I’d try debugging your PKP PN deposits first. For example, if you go and look at the PKP PN Plugin status, does it show that the deposits are complete? See below for an example of deposits that are not yet complete:
There are also some instructions for looking at your PKP PN logs in the announcement.
If you want to give up on PKP PN, you can look at the other archiving agencies in the Keepers Registry: The keepers | The Keepers registry
@Rohit_Varshney Keepers Registry updates its holdings data from the PKP PN every month. I just checked the data we supply to them and none of you journals are present in the list. In fact, I can’t find any of the journals you list in the PKP PN staging server. @shaun’s advice is correct, you should confirm that the plugin is enabled and that you have accepted the terms of use.
@Rohit_Varshney The PKP|PN plugin is available in the Plugin Gallery. Install it from there. Then, find the plugin in the installed plugin list. Enable it, and open its settings to see the terms of use. You’ll need to agree with the terms of use before you can begin using the PKP PN. Once you agree to the terms of use, your issues will be deposited into the PKP PN automatically (all exiting issues plus new ones on publication).
Thanks for the reply sir.
As suggested by you we have installed PKP PN Plugin and also enabled the settings. But still the issues are not deposited. Does it take time?
We have a similar issue. This is about this journal.
OJS log showing completion sometime back.
In fact, the ’ list of journal issues.’ is showing all the six issues.
I am not sure if the following is causing problem, but can be.
However the filename on Keeper’s registry page for this list is http://static.pkp.sfu.ca/pkppn/onix.csv.
Help and suggestions on how to resolve this matter will be greatly appreciated. This is the only hurdle we are facing to get the DOAJ seal.
sincerely
Nandan
