When i upgrade ojs 3.0 that error display

Check your webserver error log and check what it says. It will help to debug what is going on in upgrade attempt process.
Usually this file is located in this path:
/var/log/apache2/error.log

The error log message:

It seems not to be related to upgrade itself, but folder permission. It is a JPG file which is not allowed be read. Could you verify if it is with right reading permissions? And it’s parent folders as well?

Hi @tiyok, I’m having the same problem with a test upgrade. We’re looking into things right now. One thought I had was that maybe a submission file was missing from the files_dir, but I’m not sure why that would throw a fatal error. If you have any updates, please let me know, and I will do the same. Cheers, James

Hi. We use the OJS version 3.1.1.4. Recently we cannot download our files in the OJS. When we want to download MS Word files in the journal dashboard we face this error " 500 Internal Server Error". Also, when we want to download the published articles from the journal website we face another error “PDF.js v1.8.188 (build: ad1023ff), Message: stream must have data”. I take a snapshot of this issue in the following picture. Can you help me to solve this problem?
