However, whenever I try to access articles with an institutional subscription from my university computer, I do not have automatic access. Instead, I’m being redirected to the log-in page.
This problem occurs even if I enter just my own IP address in the instutional subscription settings.
It’s possible that the IP address being picked up by OJS is different than the institution’s actual address (see IP Access Not Working). You can check your web server logs to see what IP address the requests are appearing as, and make sure that’s the IP address in your subscription. Please let me know if this helps.
