How in the new version to submit articles in pdf format?

Why only Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, RTF or WordPerfect format ??? This is rather strange

Are you sure you don’t have problems with other formats? I have had problems with all type of file formats…
The OJS itself doesn’t limit the file format, but uses the mime settings of the server. Maybe you can find more info here:

CSS Upload problem

CSS files can’t be uploaded on our OJS installation. I’ve read http://pkp.sfu.ca/support/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=908 , but it does not provide a solution. The problem is that with PHP 5.3, mime_content_type() has been removed and therefore the file type isn’t checked correctly. Please provide a patch.

Hi @niv_cndi,

If you think the list you mark is the problem, you can update it: Settings - Workflow - Submission and lowe find item under Submission Preparation Checklist. You can update it or even delete it if you want, but that will not help.

mime is the answer…

this is understandable, the marker has nothing to do with it, and if I remove it, then the problem will not disappear, I ask what to do with the pdf format?))
