Wrong dates in Editorial Masthead

The Problem
After updating to OJS 3.5, the automated editorial masthead was generated but it has wrong dates. What is leading to this issue? Can I somehow remove just the dates from the Masthead or maybe put correct date there?

I am using OJS 3.5.1

Thanks

HI @pranjal007,

Are you able to provide a link to your site where your masthead is displayed?

This is the link where it is displayed.

Hi @pranjal007,

I’m not sure about removing the dates - I think this is enforced when a user is invited to the role. As for correcting the dates - you have to go into each individual’s user profile and edit these: Settings - Users & Roles - search for the particular user, click the “…” → Edit User. Towards the bottom, I see this:

I can see that I have the option to edit the Start date, for adding new roles, but not for some of the existing ones. Do you see similar? I was wondering as your masthead dates seem so new, so I was thinking that the users were invited to those roles this year?

I also see the same options as you. But the users were not invited this year, they have been the editors and section editors for years. I don’t understand that from where this start date is being fetched from.
Thanks

Hi @pranjal007

That was a bug in 3.5.0.1. Please see this GitHub issue for more information:[Editorial Masthead] | Front-office - editorial masthead page, existing users should have correct start and end date · Issue #11801 · pkp/pkp-lib · GitHub. It should be fixed in 3.5.0.2.

Best,
Bozana
