IF I click on the email tag next to an author’s (or reviewer’s) name and send them an email message
AND it is not associated with an active submission (or archived one, for that matter)
THEN where can I retrieve it from?

Off the top of my head, I believe we’re only logging emails that are sent with respect to specific submissions. Emails beyond that (e.g. sent via the Journal Manager’s interface) are not logged within OJS.

Wow… why would you conveniently provide an email flag next to usernames (even OJS3 has this feature) and then not store those emails anywhere? I guess a Feature Request is in order, then. It shouldn’t be too difficult to create a “History”-type item with email log, to be associated with a user profile, right? (Meanwhile, I will be sure to click the box to send me a copy.)
