What is the highest version of PHP that OJS 2.4.8 can run on?
Will OJS 2.4.8 run on a PHP version 6 server?

OJS 2.4.x will run on anything prior to (not including) PHP7. (PHP6 was never released, so in practice this means PHP5.x.) We don’t currently plan to adapt OJS 2.x to run on PHP7, as we would prefer to spend developer time on OJS 3.x, and encourage OJS 2.x users to upgrade.
