Website search only shows one page of results

Hi, we are using OJS 3.1.2.1 for our journal.

When we search on the main journal website, we can only see the first page of results. For example, in the screenshot shown below, I searched for “science” and it shows that there are 189 results. However, we can only see the first page of results as the rest of the page links are not shown. If we click on the arrows, it simply refreshes and shows the first page again (although the URL indicates that the page number has changed).

I have tried changing the OJS themes, but the error is present in the Default theme as well. What do you think is the best course of action?

Thanks for suggesting the upgrade, but we were able to resolve the problem without that.

The issue was with the OJS list limits that can be configured in the journal under Settings > Website > Appearance > Lists (at the bottom of the page). Both lists and pages were set to 0, that’s why search results were not advancing. We reset them to 25 and 10 respectively which are the default values and the pages work fine now.
