Using wiki mode in some of the Discourse categories

Feature Requests and other categories might benefit from enabling the Wiki mode in Discourse, allowing sequential collaborative editing of textual content.

Would that be a use case that fits into the contribution and moderation model of this instance?

Hi @jonr,

Thanks for your post. Can you say a little bit more about how you envision that and other categories (maybe elaborate which ones) could benefit from the use of that plugin? I reviewed some of the documentation here on how the plugin works from a Discourse plugin standpoint, but I’d like to hear from you and/or other community members on how it might be useful.

I may have to defer to @asmecher here as well, since he and the dev team sort of oversee some of the correspondence and tracking of the Feature Requests category, as they make their way further down the pipeline to become development priorities.

Falling today into this thread.

So long ago, I used the wiki format in this post:

So I think the plugin is already enabled… but I’m not sure if it works in all categories.

Jon, did you test in other categories and fails?
