User unauthorised to upload files in Submissions

Good morning,

We have a multi-journal site. In one journal, we have a user who does have an issue uploading documents in the submission process. When clicking on Add file and you select a pdf or docx, it gives an error:

She does have the necessary rights on the journal site. She is the only user with the problem, not other users experience this issue.

OJS version: 3.5.0.1

OS: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.6

Apache 2.4.62

MySql 8.4.6.1

PHP 8.3.19

Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi @daanlessing,

Interesting that you’re only seeing this for one user’s account. Are you seeing anything/able to check your PHP error log?

Apologies for the late reply, the only log I can see in my apache log file:

+0200] “POST /index.php/adry/api/v1/submissions/6873/files HTTP/1.1” 401 130.

No errors in php log etc.
