URL of the journal

About the URL, after the .com there are other info such as: index.php/JIFM/index
Can’t we remove them and come only until the .com?
My second question is about the icons on the tope of the page of journal (Home, About, User Home, Search, Current, Archives). How can I add to this list such as Submission, Indexing?

You’ll need to use a server-level URL rewrite (such as mod_rewrite), and the restful_urls setting in config.inc.php.

Redirect url domain more friendly

Hello everybody. My question is this my magazine is hosted at the following URL http://asaeca.org/imagofagia/index.php/imagofagia. I wanted a simpler url that looks like this http://asaeca.org/imagofagia is this possible? someone tried it? can you help me? thank you very much for the excellent software!
