Upgrading 3.013 to 3.4.03: A database error

Hello,

I am trying to upgrade OJS 3.3 to OJS 3.4.03 on localhost. I have been unable to resolve the following issue. Please help me with this issue.

  • A database error has occurred: Storage engine that doesn’t support foreign key constraints detected in one or more tables: pln_deposits, pln_deposit_objects, publons_reviews, publons_reviews_settings. Change to InnoDB before running the upgrade.

Hi @Journal_of_Positive,

OJS 3.4 only works on InnoDB, you’ll need to make the change in your current database, this link has a how to.

Thank you @gonzalognzl. I wonder if there is another way. Honestly, it’s a bit confusing for me. I will be happy If you can help
