Upgrade walkthrough?

Greetings!

I upgraded from 2.4.5. to 2.4.8 to 3.0.2. Now, the search does not find anything, there is this {“status”:true,“content”:"\n\n\t\t\tHelp\n\t</a>\n\n\n\n\n line on top of most of the pages in the admin interface, and things like stats or tasks keep “Loading”, w/o resolving.

I understand that there is advice on how to deal with all these issues. My two questions are

  1. Should I fix them while I’m on 3.0.2 or should I upgrade to 3.1.1-4 and fix whatever doesn’t work at that time?
  2. What is the recommended way - upgrading straight from 3.0.2 to 3.1.1-4 or go through one or more intermediary versions first (like 3.1.0)?

Plkease make sure that upgrade really completed without issues and give it a plenty of time to be executed especially if you have a lot of articles, journals…
I successfully upgraded from OJS 3.0.0.2 to 3.1.1.4

Issue with those signs look to me as unsuccessful upgrade.

However, always keep backup copies of database and files!
