Upgrade OJS 2.4.8 to OJS 3.0.0

  1. I have tried upgrade 2.4.8 to 3.0.0 in my cloud compute engine (linux server) and i have ran “php tools/upgrade.php upgrade”.
    I got following error.

[version: 3.0.2.0]

[code: Installer Installer::syncSeriesAssocType]
[data: dbscripts/xml/upgrade/2.4.0_preupdate_usageStatistics.xml (skipped)]
[data: dbscripts/xml/upgrade/2.4.0_preupdate_usageStatistics2.xml]
ERROR: Upgrade failed: DB: Statement violates GTID consistency: CREATE TABLE … SELECT.

Can you please help for this upgrade process

you should really go with 3.0.2. The older releases have a lot of issues with the upgrade.
