Unnable to change email address of the journal editor

Hi! I’m using OJS 3.2.0.2, and I find that I’m unnable to change the email address of the journal editor (me), because everytime I try a different address the systems tells me that “The selected email address is already in use by another user”, even tought I know that no user is ussing that address, beacuse there are no results when I search for those addresses in the users section.

I have tried to change it from my profile, but also form the admin account and its the same problem every time.

It is possible that the email address in question exists but is used by a user who is not enrolled. When you search for the email address, please also check off the little box that says “Include users who are not enrolled in the journal”.
