As editor, I was capturing a review for a reviewer who didn’t want to do it themselves and accidentally entered the recommendation for a different reviewer.
Is there a way I can undo this, e.g., remove that reviewer and add them back, since they did nothing yet on the paper?

Hi @philipmach,
Which version of OJS are you using? (Please include this in your posts.)

We are using OJS 2.4.5.0.
Hi @philipmach,
To truly undo the recommendation you’ll need to edit the entry in the review_assignments
table. If you want to avoid that, one option would be to create a second review round, add the reviewer to it, and permit them to perform the review there.

Thanks. I did think of 2nd round review.
The other thing I found is that I can use the back button to get back to the review recommendation and edit it. I’m not sure if that is supposed to work – but it does allow me to get back and change the recommendation if not the review detail. I also tried the URL to reach entering a recommendation and that also works from another session.
Hi @philipmach,
Hmm, I don’t think that’s intended behavior, but I don’t think it’s harmful either.
