Describe the issue or problem
When attempting to publish, we receive the following error:
From the plugin documentation and forum, it appears this occurs when contributor ORCID IDs are present but not authenticated. And for non-submitting co-authors, authentication happens via invitation.
It is unclear from the admin UI how to determine authentication status or invitation status for contributors.
- Is there a way in the UI see whether a contributor has been invited to authenticate their ORCID, and whether they have completed that step?
- Is there a way to identify which specific contributors are blocking publication due to unauthenticated ORCID IDs?
- Is there a recommended workflow for editors to resolve this?
