Trying to add to the information plugin

I am trying to add a couple more options to the information plugin in the sidebar. It currently has only:
for readers
for authors
for librarians

I have been able to find some of the files to do this but cannot seem to make the additions of 2 more categories in addition to the ones there now.
has anyone tried to do this? Is it possible to do? or should I build a different custom plugin to include all 5 options that I would like?

If you describe in detail the steps you took to try to create additional information pages, we can try to figure out what else you need to do.
