Translating http to https in ORCID iDs transitioning to OJS 3.1.2.0 from 2.4.5.0

I am trialling OJS 3.1.2.0 and I see it fixes an issue in 2.4.5.0 where it would not allow https in OCRIC iDs.

However, many of my users have put in their iDs using http – I would like to change this as https is more standard. Is there a way to bulk-change this user data before or during the transition to 3.x?

Hi @philipmach,

You should be able to find the ORCIDs stored in the user_settings and author_settings tables (setting_name='orcid'). You can batch-change them using a SQL query.
