One of the journals on our installation accepts submissions in Swedish, Danish and Norwegian but not in English. The journal does, however, require titles and abstracts be provided in English.
If we enable submissions in English, then authors see English as an option for submission language in the submission form, which the journal doesn’t want. But if English is not activated for forms, there is no place to properly enter the English titles and abstracts. They could, of ocurse, be entered into the title and language fields for another language, but that does not follow recommended metadata practices. Is there some other way to handle this?
