I think you’ve got two separate concerns here, that while they may appear inter-related, may not be. I know there was some confusion about this, but, If you have two distinct quesitons, please, in the future, post them as separate forum posts. And, if you wouldn’t mind editing your initial post to focus just on the ORCID issue, that would be appreciated.
To speak to your first issue:
I know that you noted that you checked the ORCID ID, but this error message suggests that the ORCID iD provided is not in the correct format, so it may be worth it to double-check the ORCID and verify that you’ve got the correct 16-digit identifier, which should be in the format: 0000-0000-0000-0000.
A few more things to try:
- Ensure you’re using the full ORCID URI: Include the complete URL, starting with “https://orcid.org/” followed by the 16-digit ORCID iD (e.g. https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1825-0097)
Could you give those options a try?
