templates/frontend/pages/searchAuthorIndex.tpl gone in OJS 3.4.?

Describe the issue or problem
Hi everyone, we updated our OJS system from 3.3.0 to 3.4.0-9 and realized that templates/frontend/pages/searchAuthorIndex.tpl is gone.

Is there a replacement or a similar function to browse authors by initial letter?

What application are you using?
For example, OJS 3.4.0-9

Hi @vmayer,

The author index was removed as part of #7183; there’s detail on why this was done over there.
