Tasks loading endlessly in admin panel

I have installed OJS 3.0 in xampp in windows without issues. When I entered admin page I seen that Tasks are loading endlessly and page became unresponsive and I have had to shut down browser. Please advise what might be cause of that behavior.

Hi @vvucic,

Check your PHP error log to see if anything is logged at about the time you make the request.

I noticed that when I turned off option in win 10 that PC should be discoverable on the network (my university network is managed by proxy server) Tasks is not loading endlessly.
I guess some checking in the network prevented it to load fast.
Maybe there is some mechanism to avoid that?

Hi @vvucic,

Hmm, I’m not sure how that would happen, though I can’t say it’s impossible. Did you check your PHP error log? That would be a good way to at least determine whether there are problems there.

When I turned off that computer is discoverable in the network everything worked fine and fast.
I guess that would be issue. I will check php error log and let you know.
