Dear OJS-Community,
a few days ago we moved our OJS installation to a new web server. Everything seems to be working well.
However, because our database is very large, almost 500 MB, importing the database caused some problems. We have therefore deleted the contents of the usage_stats_temporary_records table. This reduced the size of our table to a manageable 100 MB.
A few days after the move, the table usage_stats_temporary_records is still empty. Could this cause us problems in the long term? Do we have to actively restart any processes to get it filled again?
The Usage Statistics plugin still seems to work without any problems. The article statistics are also updated daily.
