Step by step process to upgrade to from 3.3.0.14 to 3.4.0.4

Hi,

I have tried upgrading from 3.3.0.14 to 3.4.0.4. But encountered errors. Some how upgraded to latest version but the website is not loading.

I am aware of the installation process. Can someone tell the step by step process to upgrade to 3.4.0.4 properly without errors. (Or changes to be made in the upgrade process/files).
