Send email to all journal editors

Hi,

we support a growing number of OJS journals. Every now and then we want to inform the editors about updates, new features, best practices etc:
Is there a way in OJS to sent a (bulk) email to all journal editors?
Else this would be a feature request : )

Hi @felixhelix,

Presuming that you’re using 3.3 (in the future, please indicate the version that you’re using in your post): if you go to Users → and select editors from the checklist and then select Export, you can export details to CSV. The tricky part is, I don’t think this does it across journals on an install - you’d have to go through each journal individually and do this process for each journal’s editors (so it may not be any faster than trying to collect this information manually).

Thanks @rcgillis,

as far as I can see OJS just exports the users of a single journal. So, yes, this is tedious to do and less efficient than i.e. managing a seperate list.
So I think this could be a feature worth having: I will make a feature request.
