ROR plugin upgrade to V2 of the ROR API and schema

We are using the ROR plugin in conjunction with the OpenAccess Switchboard service and received notification that ROR has upgraded the plugin to a new version (https://ror.org/blog/2024-04-15-announcing-ror-v2/)

Do any of you know if we should delete the current version and install a new plugin to reflect this change?

Thank you for any details you can provide.

Hi @lsteele,

I’m not seeing any mention of this change being integrated into the more recent ROR plugin releases: Releases · withanage/ror · GitHub

So, my guess is that the plugin hasn’t quite caught up to these changes as of yet. @Dulip_Withanage - are you still working on this plugin these days and can speak to this?

Hello everyone,

I’m also experiencing the same issue with an OJS instance (latest version of the 3.3 branch). The strange thing is that it seems to occur only with certain journals.

Has anyone noticed a similar pattern or identified what might cause this selective behavior?

Any insights would be appreciated.
Alfredo

Hi @lsteele and @Alfredo_Cosco , the ROR plugin for OJS 3.3/3.4 has recently been upgraded to use v2 of their API and is available through the plugin gallery. Can you try upgrading your plugin and check if your issues have been resolved?
