Restrict editor access to specific items in dashboard (their previous submissions)

Using OJS 3.1.2.3

Hi there - what do you do if you want to give a user editor status (a new journal editor), but they have previously published an item with the journal and there is sensitive reviewer information attached to it? Is there a way to restrict access to specific items in dashboard AND allow that user to otherwise act as a journal editor, with no other restrictions? I foresee this problem coming up a lot as as our journal editors are frequently selected from people who have previously published in the journal. …

Please help!

Perhaps… you can create “section editors” and create a new section that doesn’t exist in the past.

And when article is going to be published, change section in metadata.
