Replace A new One same OJS Version

I am having problems with OJS 3.2.1.1. The problem is that OJS has been infected with malware and in the cleaning process, it is likely that some core files from OJS were accidentally deleted

Upgrading at this time is really difficult. The question is,

is it possible to download the same version of OJS, and simply edit config.inc.php, and replace it with the file that was infected with malware? Can this be a solution?

Currently, the effects of malware and accidental file deletion have resulted in journals no longer being indexed in Google Scholar

Please give suggestions from all friends. Thank you

Hi @Muhammad_Khoiruddin,

Save the contents of your files directory (files_dir in config.inc.php), your config.inc.php file, the contents of the public directory, and your database. You could then add these to a fresh download of the same version of OJS to get things working, but I do recommend working through the upgrade process. Version 3.2.1-1 is pretty far out of date and is likely to be unsafe to run.
