Registering with ORCID api

Hi dear PKP team. I’m using OJS 3.3.0-15. In the last version of ORCID Profile plugin v1.1.3.9 the option of registering in OJS with the ORCID API was removed?

Before updating the plugin:

If so? Why was it removed? Can I reimplement it again?

Hi @lcmartinezru

I would not reimplement it, It does not add a big benifit than refilling the metadata fields.
Please consider a real orcid authentication with saving credentials etc, if you reconsider this. I had some challenges of passing some of the token variables there.
