$recipientUsername does not populate in 3.3.0.20!

We upgraded to 3.3.0.20 to get this working: $recipientUsername and per the email received below, it does not work. Could there be an issue? I copied and pasted the email received below. The “*” were pasted in place when I pasted the email contents. They are not there in the template. Please advise. Thanks!

Hi @radjr,

(Context: {$Username} does NOT populate in emails)

The {$recipientUsername} variable was added via issue #9169, and is only available to the PASSWORD_RESET_CONFIRM email template. This appears to be a different email template.
