Recaptcha not working in OJS and pages throws 500

when we enable the recaptcha, the registration page does not go through and throws a 500 error and even the recaptcha verifications fails

steps that we did:
we removed ReCaptcha and it’s working however would like to know if there is a way that we can get recapctha back. anything that we needed to set because it was working and suddenly it stopped working.

can any plugin update affect this? it happened after we updated orcid (17th oct update)

What application are you using?
OJS 3.3.0.13

Are you able to provide PHP error log messages? That would provide more clues as to what is occurring here.

hi @rcgillis , i am testing it. I don’t know what could be the issue but i just turned off and turned on recapctha and it looks good. I am testing on all of our journals. thanks
