Hi, as with Medra, the Datacite plugin also doesn’t allow you to download XML files with version 3.5.0-2.
Can you please fix this as you did for Medra in another post?

Could you let me know what error do you see? – Actually in 3.5.0-2 the known problems should be corrected. Also, please remove all the caches before you try again, your browser cache, but also as admin, on the Administration page.
Thanks!
Bozana
sorry is 3.5.0-1 version.
It doesn’t download the XML files on the DOI page.
So, do I need to update to 3.5.0-2 to get it to work again?
Even after updating to version 3.5.0-2, the DOI XML files, with the Medra plugin, still won’t download.
Please help.
no is not correct in 3.5.0-2
Good morning, I also tried reinstalling the medra plugin medra-v5_0_0-1.tar.gz.
I’d like to manually update the mEDRA Export/Registration Plugin, but I can’t find it on GitHub.
Can you help me?
Hi @simgiallorosso
The mEDRA plugin version should be available via plugin gallery. It is best to install it from there.
And here is it on GitHub: GitHub - pkp/medra at stable-3_5_0.
Best,
Bozana
yes I bought it and installed it, but it still doesn’t download the Doi xml files.
Shouldn’t you update the Datacite plugin like you did with the Medra one?
Sorry to bring this up again, but it’s important for us to fix it.
Hi @simgiallorosso, can you clarify which plugin you are having issues with (medra or datacite)? And what error messages appear in your PHP error log? I am not able to see the issue you are describing on my test installation, with either plugin. We will need more specific errors to troubleshoot this issue.
Thanks!
the plugin in medra.
The problem is that no error message appears.
But when I click on export dois, I spin the wheel and it doesn’t download anything.
Hi @simgiallorosso, did you or your system administrator check your system’s PHP error log when the error occurs? I’m not able to reproduce the issue on my version unfortunately.
{"error":"The GET method is not supported for route amq\/api\/v1\/dois\/submissions\/export. Supported methods: PUT."}
this is in my first site with ojs 3.5.0-2 and datacite plugin
in my second site with ojs 3.5.0-1 and datacite plugin
{"error":"The GET method is not supported for route qdg\/api\/v1\/dois\/submissions\/export. Supported methods: PUT."}{"error":"The GET method is not supported for route qdg\/api\/v1\/dois\/submissions\/export. Supported methods: PUT."}

Hi @simgiallorosso, can you clarify once again which plugin/registration agency you are using? You have referred to both medra and datacite in different places, and it’s hard to troubleshoot if we don’t know which plugin you are using.
We use Datacite in this Ojs istance
Thanks for clarifying - so far I’m not able to reproduce this issue in the Datacite plugin on 3.5.0-2.
Can you confirm that you are using the plugin that came with OJS by default, and have not modified the plugin files? Above you mentioned installing a plugin so it would be good to confirm you have the correct plugin files for Datacite, e.g. similar to what is in ojs/plugins/generic/datacite at stable-3_5_0 · pkp/ojs · GitHub.
I can confirm that it’s the one correctly installed from the plugin gallery and downloaded from GitHub. We’re having the problem on two OJS instances, one with 3.5.0-1 and the other with 3.5.0-2.
The Datacite plugin is shipped with OJS and not downloaded through the plugin gallery or from a Github release package - have you replaced the files with something from Github instead?
