We have only recently started publishing journals on OJ. We’re using 2.4.8.1 at the moment. One of our journals has produced the PDFs in A5 format. This is due to its hard copy version which is printed in A5.
The issue occurs when a user tries to print an article from the embedded pdf reader. The printed copy gets squashed into the corner of the A4 page and some characters do not print correctly.
If the user downloads the article and prints the downloaded copy the article will stretch to fit the A4 page, all characters showing correctly but displaying a large font size.
Short of asking the journal editors to resubmit all their pdfs as A4 versions are there any other suggestions for how we can fix this issue?
Here is an example article: View of The digital divide in Papua New Guinea: Implications for journalism education
