Primary Contact vs List of Contributors

Hello,

I was wondering why after an editor fixes an editorial decision for an article, all the authors (“List of Contributors”) for that article are getting the confirmation email? It seems to be more obvious if only the author tagged as a “Primary Contact” would be getting it, or am I wrong?

Is there any way to do something about it so only the Primary Contact is receiving the editorial emails?

This is an old topic but still very hot, in my view. We also do not want to notify ALL authors in decisions (whether it is revise, accept or reject): has there be any changes on this?
