I’m running OJS 3.1.2.4 and running into a problem where Section Editors who are also Authors are receiving review emails (specifically confirmation) about their own manuscripts. This breaks the double-blind principle.
I could remove these authors as Section Editors, but this would prevent them from handling manuscripts from other authors.
Is there a way round this? The system should ideally check whether a section editor is also the author of a given manuscript, and if they are, avoid sending them review-related emails.
Any help would be appreciated!
