I would like to inquire about whether or not it would be acceptable to post the OJS logo on a journal’s website to inform users that the journal is using the software for its publications along with a brief description.

PKP does encourage users to do so (spread word about OJS and other softwares we develop). Please use our OJS logo and, if possible, link it to https://pkp.sfu.ca/ojs/ so other readers and users may know where they can download and find further information about OJS.
I attached a logo file version in PNG format so you can use it in you journal website to link to OJS website
