I successfully migrated and upgraded our OJS install to 2.4.6. We use QuickSubmit plugin for publishing. I moved the ‘files’ directory from a publicly accessible location (a sub-directory in public_html) where it existed for about 4 years to the home directory (as recommended) in the Read me file). I also updated the changes in config.inc.php.

Every thing worked well BUT now I can no longer download published pdf files.

Did you update the files path to reflect the new location in your config.inc.php configuration file?

Thanks asmecher, yes I did.
I’ve seen the problem, I did not copy the entire folder. Issue resolved now.
