Plugin Installation: Dublin Core 1.1 meta-data

Hello,

I need to install the Dublin Core 1.1 meta-data in OMP beacause is missing as it is show in the above image:

How can I installa it?

Thanks.

Hi @EzequielEsposito,

Is it showing up in the plugin gallery? I checked and I didn’t see it there in another instance. Typically the plugin gallery is the best place to install a plugin from.

Hi @EzequielEsposito & @rcgillis,

The Dublin Core plugin is built into OJS/OMP/OPS, so not available in the Plugin Gallery. If you’ve removed the plugin from your installation, you’ll need to get a copy from a .tar.gz download of the same version of OJS/OMP/OPS. At a glance, these files are in:

  • plugins/metadata/dc11
  • lib/pkp/plugins/metadata/dc11

Thanks @asmecher & @rcgillis

So, I need to download the same version of OMP I have to get the dc11 plugin.

Then, I need to install it vía de plugin gallery or may be it is best to place it in the following directories directly?:

  • plugins/metadata/dc11
  • lib/pkp/plugins/metadata/dc11

Hi @EzequielEsposito,

You’ll need to put the files in place yourself. I’d recommend making a complete backup before doing this.

Hi @asmecher

Putting the files in the directories it is going to do manually? Draggin & dropping the folder that contains the plugin in these two directories:

  • plugins/metadata/dc11
  • lib/pkp/plugins/metadata/dc11

This folder?

Thanks.

Hi @EzequielEsposito,

Yes, take those two folders from the .tar.gz package and put them in the same place in your OMP installation. (Make sure you are starting with the .tar.gz package that matches your version of OMP.)

Thanks @asmecher
