Hi.

I would like to ask you if there is a plugin and / or tool that you can insert in OJS version 3.1.0. to be able to avoid the records of spammer users. As they exist in other CMS like Wordpress the case of the plugin Spam protection.

Hi @gardbeat,

OJS has ReCAPTCHA and email validation options built in (see config.inc.php). See e.g. No logging for user validation emails? - #5 by ctgraham for some additional suggestions.

With that form, it would be enough for me. But I have accessed the link that you indicate me and it is for version 2.x of OJS, I need it for version 3.1.x

We do have plans to move some of these plugins forward to 3.x. (Specifically, the ClamAV plugin, the Akismet plugin, and perhaps the formHoneypot plugin.) I don’t have a timeline for this yet, as we are running 40+ OJS 2.x journals, and only 1 OJS 3.x journal.
