Plug in to tranfer the OJS content to a Wordpress website

Some users work with OJS for the workflow and move the content into Wordpress for readers and visitors of the main Website, what mechanism use they to do this (beyond manual work)?

I looking for a Plug in to tranfer the OJS content to a Wordpress website

Application Version OJS 3.2.1.0

I don’t know about any plugin to transfer specifically to wordpress but you could explore any of the following options:

  • RSS plugin: OJS includes a feed plugin that you can use in the WP side.
  • OAI plugin: Not sure if WP has a plugin to ingest OAI but it could also be an option.
  • OJS API: You can develop a WP plugin to get OJS data from OJS api.

Probably others could give you more ideas.

Anyway, I will suggest you to think it in a wider way. WP looks fancy but is not focused in the academia requirements. Does WP include OAI output? Preservation plugins? Citation plugins? etc.

I would suggest you improving your ojs theme to look better than sacrifice all to get a more fancy frontend for your publication.

Cheers,
m.
