Hi, For over 3 months now, we’ve installed the PKP PN plugin.
The plugin was installed correctly without issues.
However, the status keeps reading “pending.” How can resolve this?
We are using OJS 3. Thanks for any help

Hi @ijma-usa,
Can you please indicate the specific version of OJS you’re using (e.g. 3.3.0-13), and the version of the plugin you’re using? Also, does your journal show up on this list: http://pkp.sfu.ca/files/pkppn/onix.csv ?

Hello, we have a similar issue with OJS version 3.3.0.16.
Our journal appears in this list: http://pkp.sfu.ca/files/pkppn/onix.csv and is also listed in the Keepers Registry in the ISSN Portal.
However, when we check the OJS PKP PN Plugin > Status, most volumes have been “In Progress” since June 6, 2024, with some marked as “Pending.”
Can we consider the deposit successful?
Hi @luisa.cafe and @ijma-usa!
Can you provide the journal URL? Then I can do an initial inspection.
Best,
Jonas Raoni
Hi @jonasraoni , thank you for checking in.
The journal URL is: https://periodicos.unb.br/index.php/anuarioantropologico

Hi!
Here all deposits have been preserved, except one. Do you still see the status as “in progress”? For me it looks like your journal doesn’t have the PKP PN plugin installed anymore.
Best,
Jonas Raoni
Hello! We had to uninstall some plugins, but we’ve now reinstalled them.
I just checked the status of the deposits:
Editions with status “In progress”: v49n1, v48n1, v48n2, v48n3.
Editions with status “Error”: v2n1, v44n2, v45n1, v45n3, v46n1, v46n3.
The others are listed as “Completed.”
Can you tell me which one has not been preserved?
Hi!
v48n1, v48n2, v48n3: Preserved.
v49n1: Will be processed soon.
v2n1, v44n2, v45n1, v45n3, v46n1, v46n3: Are not present on the PKP PN server, so I guess there’s an error happening locally, before the issues are exported to us.
You can ask your system administrator to share with you the error log of the server (we just need the messages from one day ago).
There’s also a file which keeps the log of the PKP PN plugin, at the folder:
{$files_dir}/scheduledTaskLogs/
, those files start with the name “PKPPNDepositorTask”, we just need the latest one.
I’ll need to take a look at these files to understand what’s happening.
Best,
Jonas Raoni
