We are trying to synchronize our institution's journals with the PKP-PN and we get the following error:
"PKP PN is not accepting deposits at this time."
Is there a problem with the configuration or that we can solve from here?

We are using OJS 3.3.0-14
I have the same problem, as other users have reported. So far, no one has provided a plausible answer. I’d like help from forum moderators or staff.

This is an issue on our side, it will be fixed once we move the service to a new server, but given the number of complaints, I just did a small workaround to decrease the noise.
Let me know if it was enough to solve your problem in 1-2 days

I don’t know if it’s a temporary problem because we’re entering new journals that weren’t in the PKP PN, but in some cases we get this message. The translation into Catalan comes out, which is what we have defined as the main language.
Apart from that, something strange happens to us, and that is that in some journals it has processed all the issues but in the module it says it’s in progress but in the log it says “deposited” which I understand is the final status of the process, do you know why it can happen?

Currently we do not have any journal fully synchronized with the PKP PN. In all cases where an issue is “deposited” in the PKP PN module, it says “in progress”.

I can see all of these journals on our side. For the ones which are ok, it should take a couple of days for the status to move from in progress to completed.
Regarding the /CV, all the deposits were created with an invalid URL, which starts with http://pkp.sfu.ca/ojs/index.php/CV/pln/, notice the pkp.sfu.ca should be revistes.iec.cat.
Perhaps there is (or there was) something wrong in your config.inc.php, regarding the [general].base_url setting, you might try to resubmit once the problem is fixed.

It’s strange that you’re commenting on CV since we have a single instance of OJS for all journals (multi-tenant). Just in case, I’ll resubmit the journal issues to see if it works now.
On the other hand, are the pkp pn or lockss states defined somewhere to identify problems? I’m referring to “depositedByJournal” “deposited” “payload-error” “inProgress” “agreement”…

Now the synchronization of the CV journal works perfectly. In the case of adding other journals and I get the message that they are not accepting new content right now, do you have to do something or will it work in a few days? I’m telling you because we have a few more journals and I prefer to do it gradually rather than dump all the journals at once in case there are errors.

I have deactivated the PKP PN module in the journals that I have already seen that are transferred to relieve the process of work. Once we have all the journals synchronized, then I will only activate the module for the live journals. In the case of the rest of the journals, when I add them, I get again “does not accept new content” and in order not to put all the journals at once, I am adding them little by little, is it correct to do it like this?

I’ve been adding journals without any problems but today I get the error message again…
I’ve removed all the journals that have already been transferred (I’ll reactivate the active ones module) and only left the new one I wanted to add. I’m leaving you the log in case you can do anything or if in these cases I have to wait a day because I don’t touch anything anymore.

The journal was finally processed, but when adding other journals we are the same, in principle we will not add many more (since we have processed most journals) but I suppose this will continue to happen, right?
In the case of journals that are no longer updated, is it good to remove them from the PKP PN module so as not to generate more traffic than is appropriate?
